Breathe on Page Hill

Join Yogi Dawn Bradbury for Sunday morning yoga. All skill levels are encouraged as this class can be modified to suit any participants.

Hatha yoga is a foundational branch of yoga that emphasizes the balance between the body and mind through a series of postures (asanas) and breathing techniques (pranayama).

The term "Hatha" combines the Sanskrit words for "sun" (ha) and "moon" (tha), symbolizing the balance of opposites within the body. This practice is designed to align the physical structure, enhance strength and flexibility, and create a calm mental state, ultimately preparing practitioners for meditation. Hatha yoga classes are generally slow-paced and accessible, making them suitable for beginners.

Somatic Movement

Enjoy a relaxing Sunday morning Somatic Movement session with instructor Jennifer Simpson. All skill levels are encouraged as this class can be modified to suit any participants.

Subtle, mindful movement to help your body unwind, release tension, and calm the nervous system—reconnecting you to your natural state of ease, mobility, and balance.

A beautiful complement to restorative yoga, or a nourishing place to begin if you’re new to mindful movement.

Each class weaves in a guided exploration through awareness and stillness—inviting space for calm, clarity, and renewal, and gently settling you into deep relaxation. You’ll leave feeling grounded, nourished, and fully restored.

THE INSTRUCTORS

Dawn Bradbury discovered yoga during her journey to relieve chronic back pain and fell in love with its mind-body-breath-asana connection. She took her teacher training in the Citizen Yoga community in Metro Detroit and has been teaching since 2018 in a variety of venues from studios to health clubs and event yoga at various locations.

Dawn focuses on the hatha yoga tradition, which blends physical postures (asanas) with breathwork and meditation to balance the body and mind. The pace is slower and intentional, holding poses for several breaths to cultivate mindfulness while leaving room for playfulness and exploration. Join a journey of self-discovery, mindfulness and finding balance and harmony within yourself.
